Sabrina Fulton, mother of Travon Martin, spoke at the Urban League’s annual conference in Philadelphia on Friday July 26, 2013.  Ms. Fulton, during her speech criticized Florida’s “stand your ground” law. Blaming that law on George Zimmerman’s acquittal in the death of her son, Travon Martin.

Ms. Fulton attended everyday of the trial. Except for the night the verdict was read. One would think that Ms. Fulton was paying attention during her attendance at the trial, the testimony and the evidence.  If in fact she was paying attention, she would know that the “stand your ground” law, was NOT used by George Zimmerman’s defense. The law that was used, was the basic self-defense law which is similar in most states. The “stand your ground” law has now taken over the narrative. Promoted by US Attorney General Eric Holder, and race hustlers, the fake Reverend Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and the liberal media.

According to the evidence presented at trial, Travon Martin assaulted George Zimmerman got him on the ground, was punching George Zimmerman while he was on top of him and was banging his head into the ground. The photos of George Zimmerman’s injuries after the altercation prove this.  George Zimmerman feared for his life and shot and killed his attacker, Travon Martin, in self defense.

Despite the evidence presented at trial, that are now facts, the race hustlers like Sharpton, Jackson and their willing accomplices in the Liberal are totally ignoring the facts and making up their own narrative and facts. This is typical of the Democratic Party. The Democratic Party’s agenda is for more restrictive gun control laws and are now using the Zimmerman trial to further their agenda to repeal “stand your ground” laws. This agenda is then promoted by the liberal media, regardless of the FACTS that were presented at trial.

Let me also say that no parent should have to bury their child. The pain Ms. Fulton is feeling must be devastating and I sympathize with her.
