Wow did I get flamed on twitter for saying: The gays and atheists are always trying to ram their ideology down our throats.

Some the responses I received stated that being gay and/or atheist is not an ideology. I disagree. Here is the definition of Ideology:  A systematic body of concepts especially about human life or culture   (Definition from M-W.com)

The atheists concept about human life or culture in the USA is that any and all references to God in the public square should be removed. To that end atheist groups have brought law suits against various municipalities, towns, counties and states to achieve their goal. The atheists argue that references to God in the public square violates the US Constitution. I disagree because of the plain wording of the 1st Amendment. “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion.” Having references to God in the public square does not meet the criteria of “an establishment of religion.”

Gays also have a concept about human life or culture in the USA by demanding that same sex couples be allowed to get married. To that end gays have brought law suits against various states and the Federal Government to achieve their goal. Gays often state that it is a right that same sex couple be allowed to get married. I have read the US Constitution and cannot find anywhere a right to get married for same sex couples or opposite sex couples.

Therefore the statements that being gay and/or atheist is not an ideology is false.

What I meant by saying atheists are ramming this down our throats is at Christmas time they want all references to God taken out of the Christmas Holiday.  They want the Christmas Tree called a Holiday Tree. They also don’t want people to say Merry Christmas. They want people to say Happy Holiday. They also do not want any Christmas displays in the public square. No other holiday in the USA is referred to as just plain “Holiday”. I say if the atheists don’t like Christmas than don’t celebrate it and stop ramming this garbage down our throats.

The gays file law suits, have gay parades, and now on TV, we have shows with gay couples. It’s everywhere. Therefore the gays are ramming their gay ideology down our throats. If you’re gay that’s fine. Why do I have hear about it and see it on TV?
